Verdun Adventure Bound (VAB) offers customized programs for public, parochial and independent schools. We encourage classes from third grade through the senior high school year to experience at least one VAB team building day per school year. The approximate length of a typical day is six hours.
Verdun Adventure Bound (VAB) is excited to announce our new and special team building encourage families to blend together prior to the BIG wedding day. The day consists of fun games and play on VAB's extensive challenge course, consisting of low and high rope elements. Every activity is "Challenge by Choice." All involved in these games support each other throughout the various challenges of the day while creating many shared experiences filled with outdoor fun, laughter and long-lasting memories.
ROPES COURSE TEAM BUILDING: Verdun Adventure Bound (VERDUN) has one of the East Coast premier pole-based Challenge Courses on 55+ acres. With over twenty years of experience in corporate team-building Verdun can offer impactful teambuilding and leadership development programs tailored to fit the specific needs of your organization. Step outside of the office and into a beautiful natural setting where enthusiasm and quirkiness are encouraged. VERDUN provides certified instructors at a 10 participant to 1 instructor ratio to ensure an impactful, safe experience for corporate teams. All challenge course activities are in proximity to the Eagle’s Nest (Our conference building), enhancing the comfort and safety of our participants. Our conference room is also available for rent if you would like to combine our team building experience with some of your own professional development. VERDUN 1⁄2 Day Corporate Program Challenge Course
One half-day course will include ground games and 3-4 obstacles depending on team’s progression through the challenges.
VERDUN One Day Low and High Ropes Course
A full day on the course will begin with games and initiatives building in difficulty through our diverse low ropes course and then concluding with a thrilling high ropes experience.
VERDUN Team Building Scavenger Hunt
Your team will be divided into small groups and compete with each other to complete a challenging but thrilling scavenger hunt, either on the Verdun property or in the community. Verdun facilitators will design the mission, activities, and challenges for each team, all you have to do is get them to our facility. Each program can be customized to meet the specific needs of each corporate client.
VERDUN On-Site Team Building Scavenger Hunt
On-site corporate teams will navigate the VERDUN 55-acre wooded facility, face challenges lead by our trained facilitators and overcome fears climbing on our ropes course in order to complete their objectives. This program would include initiatives and obstacle course style challenges. High ropes may be used as part of the experience but not in the traditional sense which allows everyone to climb.
VERDUN Off-Site Scavenger Hunt
Off site teams will race against other teams by navigating through Culpeper or Warrenton with a list of objectives for points and time. VERDUN facilitators will meet corporate groups at the group’s chosen site. This event will include initiatives and team challenges along the way lead by the team facilitator.
VERDUN Team-Building Philanthropy
Choose a service project, build something, pack a food donation box, complete a service project, etc. Pay it forward in your community and we will turn it into a team building experience for you. Our qualified facilitators will work with your corporate team to complete initiatives and challenges in order to accomplish your project.

Verdun Adventure Bound (VAB) facilities and staff are available to meet the needs of all religious groups. Our 55+ acre property offers a peaceful woodland spiritual environment ideal for retreats, workshops or teambuilding activities personalized to meet specific group goals. Our contemplative retreats activities include focused reading, group discussions, journal-keeping, and solitary reflections. VAB specializes in creating the perfect blend of outdoor learning experiences, social interaction, and personal growth opportunities. Religious services are also welcomed.
Verdun Adventure Bound (VAB) is a scout friendly facility. Discounts are extended to both Boy and Girl Scouts. Facilities and opportunities consist of camping, challenge course programs (at an additional fee) and a fishing pond for our catch and release program. We can customize merit badge instruction programs. As a nonprofit, we have many opportunities for Eagle Scout Projects.

Verdun Adventure Bound is constantly investigating and updating avenues to perform community outreach to the youth of Rappahannock, Culpeper and Fauquier Counties. Through our programs including mental health outreach, we invite students from ages 7 to 17 to enjoy our Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall Camp programs.
Verdun is pleased to announce a limited number of spring and summer camp scholarships will be offered to the youth of Fauquier, Rappahannock and Culpeper County. Any student age 7 to 17 years of age are eligible and encouraged to apply.
The awarding of the student’s scholarship is based on the family’s economic need.
The parent/s must submit a letter of recommendation on behalf of the camper.
A statement of financial need of the family’s 2019 federal tax return.
Applicants must submit a signed and completed camp application form.
